Surprise, surprise. More mountains in Nevada.

Today I crossed two peaks and started up a third at day's end. The good news is that we're less than 100 miles from California. The bad news is that the biggest mountain is right at the border.

Saw some wild horses on the open range today. They were right out there with the cattle. The ranchers out here say the horse population is out of control and the government (which owns the land) won't do anything about it. They sure don't like the BLM (Bureau of Land Management) out here.
